Continental Hotel, Majestic hotel, and Grand hotel have a history of hundreds of years and has welcomed many important people around the world.



The Continental Hotel was built by Pierre Cazeau in 1878, completed in 1880. Prior to 1970, the hotel was undergoing two reigns, the Duke of Montpensier (1911) and Corse's brother-in-law Mathieu Francini (1930). In the 1960s and 1970s, the hotel was called Mainland Lu. The hotel has hosted celebrities such as French novelist André Malraux, British writer Graham Greene - the author of Quiet American, Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore, winner of the 1913 Nobel Prize.
